Constant interacting with someone can distract your thoughts and hinder your brainstorming attempts for new ideas. On the other hand, alone time allows your creativity to flourish and stimulate your imagination.

This helps turn off background noise and makes you more aware of your own thoughts.

Spending time with other people can reveal your different personality traits. And while mirroring someone’s behavior can help you bond with your friends, it can throw off your self-awareness a bit.

Sometimes, to make your friends feel more comfortable, you may forget to think or worry about your own needs and feelings.

In these moments, it will be more difficult for you to be fully present at any given moment, which can influence you to see things from a different perspective.

Having fewer or no friends can sometimes allow you to be more in tune with yourself and experience things as you really see them.

Do you agree that we should not maintain friendships at all costs? Would you rather be alone if you knew it would help you in the long run?
